We are home base for the Animal Safe Haven Association, or "ASHA", and we're a non-profit, volunteer-only rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption facility for homeless and abandoned cats and kittens. We frequently accept cats that other animal shelters cannot take, so we are often a cat's last chance for life when they come to us. But what a wonderful chance it is!

To us, every life is precious and worth our time, and we are committed to doing everything in our power to see that even the most seemingly hopeless cases get a fighting chance at recovery and a healthy, happy future. This means housing, food, medication, veterinary care, and tons of TLC from our family of volunteers, foster homes, and particularly from our founder (and fearless leader), Delyn Kosbab.

This year we've been busier than ever, which for better or worse means there are more kitties coming in. But it also means that through our efforts there are more cats being placed in loving homes every week. It also means that our weekend adoption hours can get a little crazy, so if it takes us a little while to help you get all the paperwork finished, please know that we're going as fast as we can, and that our utmost priority is the welfare of the cats.
